Routine Maintenance Schedule

Stick to this timetable. Skipping these steps leads to toxic air and sick crews.

Carbon Core Replacement Protocol

  1. Isolate the local deck ventilation trunk from the main grid.
  2. Bleed the pressure from the housing unit. Watch the gauge hit zero before you touch the clamps.
  3. Pull the saturated carbon core. It will be heavy. Don't drop it on your foot.
  4. Slot the new core and secure all four locking pins. Listen for the physical click.
  5. Re-pressurize slowly. Watch for seal leaks with your flashlight.

WARNING: Never bypass the secondary scrubbers during a core swap. Toxic buildup happens faster than you think.
